Alkevan are Alan Harvey, Kevin Moffat and Richard Norris. Midlands-based Alkevan have been playing folk clubs and festivals since 2012 and are recognised for their exceptional harmony singing, rhythmic guitars and bodhran playing together with their original songs. Alan is the main vocalist, having previously sung with Tanglefoot UK and The Harvey Band. Kevin plays guitar as well as adding backing vocals and has written most of the songs playing upon his Cornish roots with songs of the sea, love, mystery, murder and mischief! Richard is the most recent member and is a multi-instrumentalist, bringing his bass playing to the Alkevan sound.

Alkevan are also frequently joined by the amazing Matilda Harvey on violin.
